What is a halftone print?
Halftone is the art of building an image, and a whole mood, out of dots. Vary the size and spacing of those dots and your eye blends them into shade, depth and a smooth gradient of colour. Printers have used the trick for more than a century, but it was pop artists like Roy Lichtenstein who turned those dots into a style all their own. That is the energy we were after: bold, a little nostalgic, unmistakably graphic.
