What Halloween tech accessories can you get?
Twelve Halloween designs, each made across a matching accessory range, so the season reaches past your phone case to the things you carry next to it.
Seasonal tech is usually one novelty case, bought in late October and abandoned in November. This works the other way round. You pick a design once and it carries across the accessories you already use, which is also why it is worth choosing something you can live with for more than a night.
The twelve designs
They fall into three groups, and that split is more useful than the names when you are choosing.
- Painted night scenes. Bone Harvest, Keep Out, Lantern Gate, Midnight Cat, Pumpkin Hollow, Scarecrow Night, The Reaper, Veiled Spirit and Violet Haunt. Atmospheric, mostly dark, printed edge to edge: a haunted house against a huge orange moon, a black cat on a fence, a misty path to a graveyard gate, a reaper under a blue moon, a pumpkin headed scarecrow in a cornfield.
- Light hearted. Candy Ghost and Ghost Parade. Cartoon ghosts rather than atmosphere, one on black holding a trick or treat bucket, the other drifting over a purple village.
- Graphic. Ink Skull. The only one that is a mark rather than a scene, an ink skull scattering into bats, and the only design in the range on a light background.
How much Halloween is too much?
It depends entirely on whether you want people to notice. Candy Ghost and Ghost Parade are unmistakably Halloween and are meant to be. Pumpkin Hollow, Scarecrow Night and Bone Harvest are scene setting, closer to a film poster than a costume.
If you want the season without announcing it, Ink Skull and Lantern Gate are the two to look at. One reads as a graphic skull, the other as fog and iron railings. Both would sit quite happily on a desk in March without anyone thinking about pumpkins.
What comes in each design?
Each design is made across a matching accessory range, so the print carries beyond the case itself. The Halloween range does not cover every accessory type we make, so open a design to see exactly what it includes rather than assuming.
Will it still look right in November?
Some of it will. The dark painted scenes are gothic more than they are Halloween, and Midnight Cat, The Reaper, Lantern Gate and Ink Skull all read as winter designs once the pumpkins are gone. Dark cases also age well in a practical sense, since they show marks far less than pale ones.
The pumpkins and the scarecrow are the ones tied to the date. That is not an argument against them, just worth knowing if you would rather not swap back in November.
When should you order?
Earlier than feels necessary. Everything is made to order, so there is a production time before anything ships, and that window is the whole reason seasonal orders go wrong. If you want a design in hand for the night itself, order well ahead of the end of October rather than in the last week. Current times are on each product page.
